Seafood Consumption Study for Science Student

  • Simons Summer Research Fellowship at Stony Brook University

    Rebecca Monastero, who participates in the RISE program with Science Research Teacher Maria Brown, will be participating in the Long Island Study of Seafood Consumption – Epidemiology, this summer.

       The second Sayville student to be accepted into this prestigious and highly selective program, High School Junior Rebecca Monastero submitted her winning essay to the Simons Summer Fellowship Research Program at Stony Brook University. Rebecca will participate in a summer research project with Epidemiologist Jaymie Meliker, P.hD. on a Long Island Study of Seafood. Consumption.

    Tovah Markowitz, Sayville class of 2003, was selected to be in this program in 2002.
