Fall 2010 Breakfast of Champions Recogizes Students

  • CONDUCT AND CHARACTER

    RECOGNIZED AT

    BREAKFAST OF CHAMPIONS

This year, the Fall 2010 Breakfast of Champions recognized eighteen Sayville High School students (see below) for their continuous efforts in demonstrating exemplary character and their ability to serve as positive role models for their peers at Sayville High School.

During the morning ceremony, High School Assistant Principal Brian Decker praised each Champion individually for his or her attributes of conduct or character, as observed by the Sayville High School teachers and staff who nominated them. Mr. Decker remarked how these Champions have made a difference and provided the essential components that contribute to a successful High School Community and then called up each student to receive recognition, a Breakfast of Champions certificate, and a plaque created with his or her personal portrait on a Wheaties Box background.

After, Mr. Decker thanked the art and technology departments for their help in creating the awards, as well as the Sayville High School Chamber Orchestra for providing the soothing musical interludes.

Breakfast of Champions has become a wonderful tradition for these select students and their parents to enjoy both a morning meal, provided by 21 Main, Sayville, and a feel-good way to start their day.
