Last Spring at Cherry Avenue

  • Last Spring at CHERRY AVENUE

Fifth-grader Mikhaila Siebert, who placed second in the Cherry Avenue Sharpshooter Contest, attended the TOWN OF ISLIP Sharpshooter CONTEST as a “runner up.” During the Town of Islip’s Sharpshooter competition, not only did she win First Place in the contest, this was Mikhaila’s SECOND YEAR IN A ROW as the First Place Winner. Congratulations!

Leaping into action last spring, Physical Education Department’s Jump Rope for Heart garnered a total donation for THE AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION of $11,929.50

Amazed by the total, PE Teacher Jen Fee admitted, “The Jump Rope for Heart donation was the highest we have ever raised at Cherry Avenue,” and thanked all who made the new record possible.
