Exceeding Scores for an Exceedingly Bright Student

High-scoring Middle School students who took the SATs between March 1 and June 30, 2009 were recognized by the John Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth at their 2009 Winter Awards ceremony. For top students from New York State, this ceremony took place in January 2010 at Hunter College.

Sayville High School Freshman Curran Boyce was among the recipients who received the High Honor Award for his outstanding performance on the March 2009 SAT when he was still in Eighth grade. Curran’s scores exceeded 600 in all components of the SAT: critical reading, math, and writing. Congratulations, Curran, on your amazing achievement!
