Middle School Book Drive

  • KEEPING THE SPIRIT ALIVE

    WITH A BOOK DRIVE

For Childhood Cancer Awareness Month (September), the Middle School held a book drive. As a way of keeping seven-year-old Stephanie-Lynn’s spirit alive, her family once again contacted friends at the Middle School and organized book collections for children in hospitals all over the county. Their goal: to put lots of smiles on little faces.

Now, in its second year, the Middle School has collected over 500 books for this cause.

Organized by the Sixth-grade Green Team (Lisa Krauth, Kate Redmond-Eubanks, Lisa Hartman, and Kevin Durnin), the book drive was another success, thanks to all students, faculty, staff, and community members who helped.
