At Cherry Avenue Elementary School, Miss Anderson's Second-grade class and Mrs. Fulton's Third-grade class set up an election booth for Cherry Avenue students to vote for their favorite candidates. The Second-grade had worked hard the previous week, studying facts, researching the candidates' views,and forming opinions on their own! The Third-grade students tallied all five hundred plus votes. Winning by thirty votes, was Barack Obama.

Everyone had a great time learning about the election process!
