Tri-M Caroling at St Ann's Church

  • Playing a wide variety of holiday instrumental music and singing an assortment of carols, members of the Sayville High School ’s Tri-M Music Honor Society held a Holiday Concert at St. Ann ’s Church to collect donations for the Sayville Food Pantry.

These students who comprise the Sayville chapter of Tri-M have achieved high ranks for their solo performances in NYSSMA and therefore are inducted into the Honor Society. Their crowning achievements are the direct result of our Music Department’s talented staff who convey the love of and cultivate the ability for musical performance to our students.

As part of their community service activities, the Sayville Tri-M members often use their musical talents for worthy causes—in this case, spreading holiday cheer to benefit the Sayville Food Pantry. Delightful piano interludes were also performed by 11-year-old Anthony V., who as a Sixth-grader at the Middle School is not yet eligible for Tri-M membership, but obviously he is destined for the honor society if he continues with his music studies.

Special thanks go to all the Tri-M officers* and members as well as St. Ann's piano accompanist Kathy Senese for her assistance. Bravo!
