SEEDs of Frank Lloyd Wright

  • “Does your home have an open floor plan, a living room, a car port?” Sayville Elementary SEED students were asking these questions and more as they researched the works of famous American architect Frank Lloyd Wright.

As part of their extensive project, the Elementary SEED students investigated the American architect’s influences that inspired generations of architects and artists.

The students were required to use a virtual “Frank Lloyd Wright” to create computer designs of homes that reflected specific clients’ needs and tastes, as well as location and style of home.

For the final phase of the project, they constructed 3d models of their designs that demonstrated desirable details such as stain glass windows, intricate roof lines, and landscaping.

At a Sayville BOE meeting, SEED teacher Cindy Nacional showcased several extraordinary3D models with two of her young architects.
