Live with School-Meal Prepayment Plan
-
Dear Sayville Parents and Guardians;
Sayville has successfully gone live with MyNutriKids, a computerized Point-of-Sale payment system for school meals at the Middle School and all the elementary schools. Our High School will go live next September when the bond renovation to the cafeteria is complete.
Sayville administrators, building principals, and food and nutrition personnel have been observing the process since the program went live at the various schools several weeks ago, and already, things have improved. Most of the children have learned and now understand the usefulness of their unique and confidential pin number which they use on the lunch line. This is a wonderful starting point.
We would like to encourage you to choose one of the three prepayment options that best suits your family’s needs. Prepaying is crucial in resolving the inconvenience of sluggish lunch lines and daily confusion currently caused by the exchange of money and the need to make change. Prepaying will ensure the smooth operation of this state-of-the-art food service program that has seen tremendous success in other school districts. (See the Questions & Answers Guidelines attached.)
With your support, the process will continue to improve, and you and your child will enjoy the long-term benefits of this program.
Sincerely,
John J. Belmonte
Assistant Superintendent for Business
