National Junior Honor Society Inducts 95
Each year the number increases. This year eighty-one seventh-graders—the largest in the Middle School's charter history—and fourteen eighth-graders were eligible for induction into the National Junior Honor Society. In addition to demonstrating exemplary qualities of scholarship, leadership, service, character, and citizenship, each student maintained an average of 95 or above for four quarters and was required to submit a letter of application.
At a (electric) candle lit ceremony, the inductees were welcomed to the society and joined forty-five current members. As NJHS members, the students must maintain their academic standing while actively engaging in community-service projects or activities throughout the school year. Congratulations to the following students (see the attached file).
