ERIN HALLIDAY DUFFY SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS - JUNE 2020

Erin Halliday was a student at Lincoln Avenue who went on to become a teacher and teach at her very own elementary school Lincoln Avenue!  Erin got married and became Mrs. Duffy, sadly she is no longer with us and this scholarship is given each year in her memory. Mrs. Halliday-Duffy touched the lives of everyone she came to teach and work with. She loved giving back and embodied all things that were good in this world.  Erin loved nature, yoga and learning new things and never let her illness stop her.  Each year Erin’s parents award a Lincoln Avenue 5^th grade graduate and a Lincoln Avenue alumni High School graduate with this scholarship.  The recipients are students who want to learn to improve on a skill, give back to community or helping others in need.  The money they win is to be used to further their skill or to help them with a community project.
