At the June 10, 20BOE Business Meeting, Award Citations were given to the following:

  • The final Board of Education Business Meeting for the 2020-2021 Academic year was held on Thursday, June 10 at 7:30 p.m. in the High School Auditorium and was live-streamed. Due to in-person limitations and the overwhelming number of award recipients being honored at this BOE meeting, the scheduling of the Awards portion of the meeting was staggered.  Scholastic Awards began at 7:30 p.m.  These were followed by Athletic Awards. After the distribution of all the awards, community members who wished to attend the General BOE Business Meeting were allowed to enter. 

Sunrise Drive Student Citations Presented by Principal Dr. Foy and BOE VP Cangelosi

  • Aylin Aci - This student grew over 500 seedlings to be donated to the Seedling Fundraiser.

    Madelyn Anderson, Leah Babcock, Grace Jabour, Abigail Keil - These four students organized a fundraiser from start to finish, on behalf of another Sunrise Drive family to help with medical costs and other expenses incurred.  These students showed great empathy and initiative.

    Justin Colburn, Morgan Colburn, Dylan Colburn - These three students ran an ice cream stand, on behalf of another Sunrise Drive family to help with medical costs and other expenses incurred.   These students showed great empathy and initiative.

    Brayden Cox, Chloe Cox - These two students ran a snack stand and also raffled off a scooter, on behalf of another Sunrise Drive family to help with medical costs and other expenses incurred.  These students showed great empathy and initiative.
