Partnering with Brightview Senior Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care facility in Sayville, Mrs. Meloni and Ms. Straub’s Lincoln Avenue First-grade Class crafted Valentines specifically for the residents. This activity was part of a weeklong lesson during which the students were learning the various ways they could spread love and kindness. Once the First-graders Valentine’s Day wishes were finished, their loving messages were sent—special delivery via Ms. Straub—bringing joy and smiles of happiness to the Senior recipients.
