    • Gianna Mirro  - First-Place Winner in the Congressional Art Show. Her work was selected by Congressman Andrew Garbarino as the overall winner.   
      Christopher Cannetti  - Honorable Mention in the Congressional Art Show   
    • The following four art students were chosen by the Museum of Contemporary Art Long Island to be part of an interactive outdoor art exhibit.  Noelle Bartolotta, Elle Maslak, Christopher Mulligan, and Lia Yeon-Hong Bickerton
    • Juliana Balsamo  - Won the Bidawee Animal Shelter’s Annual “Love Your Pet Art Contest.”

Recognizing the Military Children

  • * Presented by Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction Dr. Christine Criscione 

    Each year, the DOD has set aside April as the Month of the Military Child to recognize 1.6 million military children in this nation. The Sayville Board of Education is pleased to present this certificate of recognition to the following students for their sacrifice and bravery on the home front, along with the unique experiences and challenges they have faced as a result of their parents’ military service.
