Throughout the District, Sayville Schools celebrated Veterans Day to acknowledge the service and sacrifice of those who serve. At Lincoln Avenue, the Student Council, Site -Based Team, and PTA joined forces to hold a Veteran’s Day breakfast on Thursday, November 10, 2022.  Students invited a family member who was a veteran to breakfast.  During the breakfast, members of Student Council spoke about the history of the holiday and the importance of the day.  In addition, veterans were shown a video created by the Student Council students and Mrs. Cirillo.  Finally, the students treated the veterans to a special performance of “America the Beautiful.”
