Logan O'hoppe (photo: fifth from left, back row, in black attire and white sneakers), son of Sayville High School teacher Angela O’hoppe and currently a MLB catcher, visited SHS Mathematics Teacher Mr. Adam Sznitken’s "sports analytics" class.  As a guest presenter, Logan discussed and demonstrated the analytics that he uses as a professional baseball player. The class was genuinely receptive to the practical application of mathematics in the sports world.
