On Tuesday, May 16, Sayville High School inducted 111 new members into the National Honor Society. These academic high-achievers have demonstrated the attributes of scholarship, leadership, character, and service through various co-curricular and extracurricular activities, in addition to maintaining a 94.5 average throughout their high school careers.

Honor Society Advisor Kevin Recker and High School Principal Ron Hoffer spoke to the inductees and their friends and family and congratulated them on their hard work and effort to achieve this honor. 

 After the 2022 NHS slate of officers each bequeathed their office to the newly elected officers for the 2023 school year (see below), each student was called up to receive individual recognition.
