Congratulations to Sayville’s Girls Varsity Cross Country team who won the Class B New York State Championship this past Saturday in Syracuse, New York!

The team are now back-to-back champs after winning the same title last year. 

Isabella Gerena, Marianna Duffy, and Megan Lankowicz were named All-State for their efforts. 

Outstanding performances were also turned in by Mullane Baumiller, Madeline McKillop, Carly Strining, and Aubrey Vitale. 

The team ran to their best 5 man average in school history (19:45.2) on the course at Vernon-Verona-Sherrill High School.

“I’m so proud of the girls and the amazing effort it took to achieve this goal,” said Head Coach Thomas Duffy.
