On Ugly Sweater Day!

An "Ugly Sweater Day Contest," coordinated by Sayville Middle School Literacy Teacher Susan Rafferty and Sixth-grade Teacher Danielle Chamberlain, was held an as a benefit for Matthew’s Giving Tree as well as other local families in need.

"It felt great to do something so fun while knowing we were helping others," Mrs. Rafferty said, adding, "Oh, and by the way, the UGLIEST sweater was worn by Tom Meier!"
