Convening at the first official Superintendent’s Conference Day of the 2015-2016 academic year, Sayville faculty and staff returned on September 1st and were welcomed by a musical showcase of exceptionally talented Sayville students. Jullian Brudi sang the National Anthem and the Senior Nicholas Burkel masterfully played  on the cello.

Following these outstanding performance,  Board of Education President John Verdone greeted the returning staff with encouraging words and Superintendent Dr. Walter Schartner conveyed his message of pride in Sayville School District's accomplishments from K-12, concern about the ongoing challenges from Albany, and hope that the shared vision of district and community will continue to provide opportunities to keep our students college and career-ready.
