Sayville Middle School sent two teams to the 2014 Suffolk County Middle School Math Tournament held at Brookhaven National Lab. Once again Sayville’s attendance was noticed. “There were teams from twenty-five districts competing and Sayville students received awards for placing Fifth among them,” Mathletes Coach Mrs. Joanne Grzymala announced. “Nicholas Cameron came in Third Place out of all the Seventh graders. We are very proud of our select Mathletes: C.J. Hichborn,Thomas Faughnan, Christopher D’Amour, Amy Tomko, Meghan Caraher, Jordan Ramsaywak, Nicholas Cameron, Abigail Sneddon, Philip Rinaldi, and Richard Cotes.”
