Congratulations to Sayville Senior Esra Erdogan. With her artwork entitled Blue Mosque, Esra was one of three students to receive the Juror’s Award at the L.I. University Advanced Visions10, High School Artists of Excellence juried art exhibition, held at the Hillwood S.A. L. Gallery.

Out of 311 applicants, from which only 82 works would be selected, TWO Sayville Senior AP Art students, Kara Stenberg and Emily Milano, were accepted into 2014 Long Island's Best Young Artists, the Heckscher Museum's prestigious annual juried exhibition for high school students. This is an outstanding achievement for which Sayville Art Department Chairperson, Deb Urso exclaimed. “We are so proud!”
