Learning From An Expert

Fifth-grade students in Mr. Joseph Dragotta class will be benefiting from ongoing visits by Sayville Ninth-grader Ryan Rafferty.

“Ryan Rafferty, a former student of mine,” Mr. Dragotta said, “came to Lincoln to help my students by discussing how to be prepared for the Middle School, etc. His first visit was the 'kick off' for a team-teaching program I will be doing with Ryan monthly.”

While Ryan will share his perspective about programs and opportunities as a recent student at the Middle School, as the son of Middle School Reading Teacher Sue Rafferty, his insights on the whole Middle School experience will be balanced.

“ And he's the right guy for the job!” concurred Mr. Dragotta.
