Sayville Students Selected for All-County and All-State Festivals by NYSSMA

During the Spring auditions throughout the state, NYSSMA adjudicated thousands of music students, delivering grades and rankings on each individual’s performance. Those who performed well during these auditions were selected to perform in several prestigious musical venues.   

Again this year, Sayville music students have risen to the challenge with exemplary performances. Congratulations to the following students who earned All-County and who will perform at the Division Four NYSCAME 2013 All-County Festival in November. (Photo above and see insert for names.)

Special kudos go to the following students (photos at right and below) who achieved All-State by earning the highest scores. Based upon their superior performances, these All-State music students have been selected to perform in the All-State Festival in Rochester this December. (The Alternates for All-State are: Caroline Greco, Matthew McGrath, and Anthony Vetere)
