The Stars Come Out!

The Lincoln Avenue PTA sponsored “Stories by Starlight” during the annual Parents as Reading Partners Program.

“This year’s program featured our Dads as partners,” Lincoln Avenue Principal Dr. Michele Leblanc explained, “and it is still yet to be determined who enjoyed it more…the students, or our parents dressed in their PJ’s.  Dr. Schartner joined the fun, sporting a Cat-in-the-Hat Top Hat, while reading Seuss’ own What Was I Scared of?”

“Students cycled from classroom to classroom with the help of our responsible fifth graders,”  Dr. Leblanc added, “and listened  to several stories read with enthusiasm.  The evening concluded with cookies and milk and plenty of smiles!”
