Played 4 a Cure  

The Sayville Field Hockey Team dressed in pink to Play 4 A Cure during a recent scheduled league game against West Islip. Wearing pink shirts they had tie-dyed on Sunday, the Sayville Flashes also gave the coach and members of the West Islip team pink bows to wear during the game.

Motivated by their Pink Day, Sayville Field Hockey played to win with a score of 3-0.

 As part of the fundraising activity, tie-dyed pink shirts were also sold for $6 each. In addition, the team will hold a bake sale Saturday, October 20, at the Field Hockey’s Senior Day game scheduled for 2:30 p.m. to raise more money 4 A Cure.
