A High Point in Her Life

  • Signing for Lacrosse

is a High Point  in Her Life

Congratulations to Sayville High School Senior Emily Meier who has signed to High Point University, North Carolina, to play Lacrosse.

Since 9th grade, Emily started for Varsity Girls Lacrosse and played an important role as a midfielder in Sayville’s Suffolk County Championship title in 2009.

“Emily is a great leader,” said Coach Adam Sznitken who praises her for not only being one of the smartest players, but because she is like having another coach out on the field.  “She leads by example, which is an attribute of the best leaders. Many of our offensive plays run through Emily, even though she might not always be the one scoring the goal.” Coach Sznitken has seen Emily improve as a player each year, “and now she rarely makes mistakes.” She will be a great asset to High Point Lacrosse.

Sayville School District wishes Emily the best and brightest for someone so capable!
