INTRODUCING BoardDocs

Sayville School District is leveraging the power of the Internet with a paperless meeting solution called “BoardDocs” to improve our Board of Education administrative process while saving time, taxpayer dollars, and the environment.

BoardDocs will replace the old and costly method of compiling, printing, binding, and distributing paper agenda packets by hand. This solution will enable the district to maximize the effectiveness of their board meetings with online transparency, providing a basis for better and more open communication with the public, and increasing productivity with a substantial savings annually.

BoardDocs will not only save time and resources, it will also provide public access via the Sayville School District Web site to agenda items and other board-related information. This process will allow residents to review information prior to board meetings, and after the meetings, view the agenda items and see what action was taken by the board, complete with voting results. All documents associated with the meeting are automatically archived and can be accessed by meeting date or by using the system’s comprehensive search feature.
