Elementary Level S.C.M.E.A. Students

Every year, music teachers across the county nominate a few students from each school to participate in the S.C.M.E.A. (Suffolk County Music Educators Association) advanced band, orchestra and chorus. The pictured musicians learned challenging music on their own time and on March 10, 2024, came together after only three rehearsals and put on a fantastic show.

L.I.S.F.A Participation

The Long Island String Festival Association (L.I.S.F.A.) is composed of the most advanced orchestra students across Long Island.

Arrow of Light Cub Scouting Award

The Arrow of Light is both a rank and an award. It is the highest achievement in Cub Scouting. It is the only Cub Scout award that can still be worn on a Boy Scout uniform. The award design is a yellow arrow with a rising sun. There are seven rays in the sun that represent wisdom, courage, self-control, justice, faith, hope, and love.
