Boys Varsity Soccer Team Create “Blessing Bags”

On Wednesday, December 6, the Boys Varsity Soccer team gathered to create “blessing bags” for homeless and displaced teens from items and money they collected from the Sayville community.

The team also collected non-perishables to be donated to Hope for Youth and the Long Island Coalition for the Homeless. 

Hope for Youth provides a multitude of outreach services for youth, including safe havens for runaway and homeless teens, temporary housing for youths in the process of reunification with relatives and also offers therapeutic group homes for teens to help them develop independent living skills.

The Long Island Coalition for the Homeless provides services and outreach for homeless individuals and families across Long Island.
