Community Concert Inspires & Uplifts

The Sayville Schools community had an amazing Community Concert on Tuesday, November 28, thanks to musician Jared Campbell who played inspiring and uplifting songs for attendees at the middle school.
Students danced in the aisles to the tunes and Jared even managed to squeeze in a few well-known songs for parents as well.
Earlier in the week, Jared visited the three elementary schools as well as the middle school where he taught students about responsibility and fun all through original songs!
“We were so fortunate to be able to invite Jared Campbell back to Sayville for the 2nd year in a row, and he did not disappoint,” said Assistant Superintendent for Pupil Personnel Services Jillian Makris. “Jared is definitely a fan favorite with our students and staff. Jared is able to connect with people through music while teaching very valuable lessons. His storytelling through music aligns perfectly with our STRIDES philosophy about building self-esteem, being resilient amidst obstacles, and showing strength of character. We can't wait to have him back again in the future."
