High School Business Students Move On To Next Round of Competition

February 12, 2024

Congratulations to the Sayville High School students in the Virtual Enterprises International firm Shore2Shore who secured their position in the next round of the Virtual Enterprises International Business Plan Competition!

Shore2Shore placed in the top 40 percent and presented their business plan to a panel of judges on February 8, via Zoom.

Next up, students hope to make it to the third round of the competition, placing in the top 40, where they will present their business plan at the Youth Business Summit in NYC in April. For now, the students are fine-tuning their presentation and refining their business strategy.

“I am so proud of all the hard work they have put into preparing for this competition and their real-world applications for this virtual business,” said teacher Hannah Michaelson. “CEO Sophia Montalto and her C-Suite team consisting of Christopher Yonkers, Sean Folks, Jordan Weber, Zack Watson, and James Marino have been doing an excellent job this year and this is a testament to all of their hard work.”

Their journey through these competitions exemplifies the power of education to inspire and empower the next generation of business leaders through business education.

Good luck, Shore2Shore!
