High School Musician Performs in Albany

Congratulations to high school student Brandan Mazzullo who, on Monday, March 4, performed as part of the All-State Jazz Ensemble during Joseph R. Sugar N.Y.S.S.M.A. Day in Albany!

Each year during the month of March, N.Y.S.S.M.A. (New York State School Music Association) celebrates “Music in Our Schools Month” across New York State. During this month, N.Y.S.S.M.A arranges a day in Albany called Joseph R. Sugar Day in honor of the long-time N.Y.S.S.M.A music education advocate who was instrumental in the creation of Music in Our Schools Month.

As a member of the All-State Jazz Ensemble, Brandan played at the Empire State Plaza for an indoor concert as well at an evening reception for state representatives.
