High School Students Attend Winning Women Leadership Conference

On Thursday, November 30, business education teacher Hannah Michaelson and three female-executives from Sayville’s Virtual Enterprises International Firms attended the Winning Leadership Conference at Mastercard’s Tech Hub in New York City.

The students, Jordan Weber, Mullane Baumiller and Lily Corcoran, had the opportunity to engage with and learn from inspiring business professionals about the skills needed to develop successful careers and were able to take a tour of Mastercard’s “Experience Tech Hub” which houses an amazing display of advanced technologies. 

Carol Anne Riddell, host and contributing reporter for Arts in the City and former anchor of WNBC News 4 New York, was the lead facilitator for the event and spoke with the students about her journey to success.

“Students came back from the trip inspired to keep pursuing leadership roles,” Michaelson said.
