Key Club Creates Military Care Packages

Sayville High School’s Key Club, in conjunction with the local Kiwanis Club, collected items for servicemen and servicewomen who are currently deployed.

Members donated items such as toiletries, reading material, socks and snacks during the months of November and December.

On Thursday, December 14, members of the Kiwanis Club joined members of the Key Club to pack the assortment of items, handwritten notes of encouragement, and well wishes.

The organizations said they hope the boxes bring a little bit of home to military personnel overseas.
