Practice Makes Perfect on Locker Day

On Wednesday, August 23, Sayville Middle School’s soon-to-be sixth graders visited the school to practice using their combination lockers. Middle School Principal Dr. Joseph Castoro and Assistant Principal Mr. Brian Decker greeted the students and assured them that they had plenty of time to practice opening their lockers. 

Students and their families were assisted by eighth-graders from the National Junior Honor Society who helped the sixth graders find their lockers. With two hours to practice and feel more comfortable with their combination lockers, the sixth graders are sure to be pros by the first day of school!
