String Quartet in Special Concert

The Sayville High School STRING QUARTET is One of THREE MUSICAL GROUPS Selected by SENATOR THOMAS CROCI To Perform in a SPECIAL CONCERT on May 31st, 2017

Sayville High School Music teacher Ari Kramer along with the string quartet students have been honored with a special invitation from Senator Thomas Croci to perform at a Senior Music Event concert in May.

Excerpt from Senator Croci's letter:

"The 3rd Senatorial District is home to some of the most musically talented students that Long Island has to offer. This May, I am looking to spotlight this unique group by hosting a public concert.

"With this in mind, I am asking if the String Quartet members would be available to join me for my Senior Music Event at the Bayard Arboretum, 440 Montauk Hwy., Great River, 11739.

This showcase event will be held on May 31, 2017 at 3 p.m. We plan to highlight THREE groups from local school districts and ask that they perform for approximately 30 minutes each. ... I feel this is a wonderful opportunity to introduce the park to new users and, more importantly, introduce the public to this special group of performers."

The public is welcome.
