2019 April BOE Student Citations and Awards

BOE President John Verdone and Music Department Chair Jeff Hoffman presented the citation.
Donald Schweikert was presented a BOE Citation for his excellence in Music by BOE President Verdone and Music Department Chairman Mr. Hoffman for his participation with All-County, All-State ensembles and other competitions. Donald had been invited to play with the John Philips Sousa National Band (a National honor)and was one of only five musicians in the country to be a National finalist in the President’s Own Marine Band Concerto Competition. Most recently, Donald was named the winner of the Atlantic Wind Symphany Concerto Competition.

James Phillips - First Prize for Kindergarten at the Lincoln Avenue Science Fair: Project: Fizz Quiz;
Audrey Leo - First Prize for Grade 1 at the Lincoln Avenue Science Fair Project: Knot Again;
Grace Jones - First Prize for Grade 2 at the Lincoln Avenue Science Fair Project: Surface Tension;
Jake Lennihan and Charles Gallo: - First Prize for Grade 3 at the Lincoln Avenue Science Fair. Project: Sky High Parachutes;
Jack Lankowicz - First Prize for Grade 4 at the Lincoln Avenue Science Fair Project: Voice Smoke Detector;
Braedon Bryant - First Prize for Grade 5 at the Lincoln Avenue Science Fair Project: Slap Docker.
