International Peace Day in Sayville
HOW DID SAYVILLE CELEBRATE PEACE DAY?
On September 21, 2018 International Day of Peace, Ms. Tiffany Pontieri’s eighth-grade Studio in Art students were inspired to promote their messages of peace in chalk. Outside, at the south-side of the Sayville Middle School building, the art students created these beautiful chalk drawings on the sidewalk where students are usually dropped off or picked up. It was an ideal spot for all to see and be inspired.. (See below.)
