Maria Brown Received received The Chancellor’s Award for Excellence

Congratulations to Sayville High School Research in Science & Engineering teacher Maria Brown for receiving The Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Adjunct Teaching from Stony Brook University. Maria has been recognized for her “consistently superior teaching at the graduate, undergraduate or professional level in keeping with SUNY’s commitment to providing its students with instruction of the highest quality.” 

This testament to Maria Brown's professionalism and commitment to excellence at the university level is no surprise to her many Sayville students, colleagues, and district administrators who have collaborated with her in the Sayville School district for more than nineteen years.
