Sayville Middle School Students’ PORTFOLIO PROJECTS Garner Distinguished Awards

Eighth graders Kristen Tellier and Noa DiNapoli, from Ms. Tiffany Pontieri’s Studio in Art class at Sayville Middle School, recently attended the NYSATA’s (New York State Art Teacher's Association) Portfolio Day, held at Bellport High School, where each received a score of 31/32 Distinguished with Mastery from the judges. “I'm so proud of each of them,” Ms. Pontieri shared, “they put in a lot of their own time outside of class to prepare six pieces of art and two essays to present. Their dedication to their work paid off!"
