Sunrise Drive Students Win at Stock Market

“Students from Sunrise Drive placed third in the Elementary Division of the Long Island Stock Market Game,” reported Melinda Moran, NYS Master Teacher and Academic Challenge & Enrichment Facilitator. “The Stock Market Game is an online simulation of the global capital markets that engages students in grades four through twelve in the world of economics, investing and personal finance, and that has prepared 17 million students for financially independent futures.”​ These winning Sunrise Drive students recently attended an awards ceremony at Hofstra University and were given both a banner for Sunrise Drive as well as individual medals for their accomplishments.
