Debate Team Sending Two Sayville High Schools Students to States

“On February 8th, at the NYS Elimination Tournament hosted by Jericho High School,” said Sayville co-Debate Team Adviser Hannah Michaelson,  “Sayville High School students Alex Petruzzelli and Maggie Mongiello competed in JV Lincoln-Douglas debate.  Alex placed Third and Maggie place Second, both qualifying to compete at States hosted by Hofstra on April 25th and 26^th, 2020."

Both Sayville High School Debate team Advisors, Eileen Walsh-Ahrens and Ms. Michaelson, are very proud of their students. Congratulations and good luck, Alex and Maggie!
