Upon learning he received the T. Denny Sanford Scholarship from LIU, Sayville Senior Joseph Lopresti attributed the Sayville Business Education Department for truly giving him a foundation for success.  Joe wrote the following letters to both his Virtual Enterprise International teachers Mr. Chad Cross and Mr. Bryan Coon, chairman of the Business Education Department, to share his good news.

Dear Mr. Cross,

Hello from the old CEO of Altitude Extreme Sports! I just wanted you to know that I won the T. Denny Sanford Scholarship at LIU post through Virtual Enterprise International and LIU Post is covering my tuition cost for college. I wanted to email you to thank you for everything last year because if I was not CEO then this opportunity would never have appeared for me. You've changed my life for the better, always remember that! I hope you have a good rest of your quarantine and stay healthy.

Dear Mr. Coon,

Hi, I have good news, Mr.Coon. As you may recall I applied months ago, in September, for LIU's T. Denny Sanford Business Scholarship that they give to select VEI students. I am happy to inform you that I got a call from the Dean of the Business school yesterday and learned that I won the scholarship, so now my whole tuition for college is being paid for, leaving me only needing to cover the cost of room and board with some help from my wrestling scholarship*.

I wanted to thank you for everything you've done for me including putting me on the path to be a successful businessman. If it wasn't for you making me a manager for VEI in 10th grade and helping to guide me, I don't believe I would be the place I am today. You and the Virtual Enterprises program changed my life and I'm always going to be grateful for it. If you ever need anything in the future please contact me.
