Sayville VEI Firms Showcased at LI Regional Conference & Exhibition

The Sayville students in all three Virtual Enterprises International firms participated with ninety other student-firms from Nassau and Suffolk counties at the recent Long Island Regional Conference & Exhibition. During the January event, the Sayville VEI students showcased their booth designs, engaged in salesmanship pitches, and learned more about impact marketing as they sold or purchased from the other firms in attendance.

“It was truly amazing,” said Tyler Karpowicz, CEO of  Altitude Extreme Sports, “seeing a bunch of other firms, the products they offer, what our own company can improve upon, and of course, meeting new people!”

“Preparing for the trade show was stressful but after attending this one,” Sayville High School VEI teacher Hannah Michaelson explained, “the students were able to see their competition, see what it’s like, and be even more prepared for the April trade show. The next trade show is an international exhibition and is at the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal on April 23rd.”

Good luck, Sayville VEI students, at the next trade show!
