VirtuaL Enterprises Students Compete at LIU
Prepared for the 2019 National Elevator Pitch Competition, Sayville students in the Virtual Enterprises International classes recently attended the 6th Annual Long Island Virtual Enterprises Entrepreneurship & Leadership Conference hosted by LIU Post. Before a panel of judges comprised of industry experts, the students presented “elevator pitches” about their companies and afterwards networked with high school students from other VEI companies. Energized by this first phase of the competition, the Sayville students under the direction of their teacher Hannah Michaelson, have regrouped and begun preparations for the business-plan competition scheduled during the January trade show.
Sayville students representing their companies were: Jacob Capobianco, CEO of 1-Click Tickets; Tyler Karpowicz, CEO of Altitude Extreme Sports; and Robert Santerre III, COO of G-Flash Music Production.
