A New Look for Morning Announcements at the Middle School
Since September 2020, the Sayville Middle School community has been enjoying the daily announcements, videorecorded each morning by their new principal, Dr. Joseph Castoro. Obviously, the Middle School students have been listening and learning from Dr. Castoro's broadcast techniques. Recently, the students showed what they have learned. "Today." Dr. Castoro announced, "some sixth-grade students in Mr. Durnin’s class took over and did them! They did a fantastic job filling in for me! Ms. Rooney our librarian and Ms. Lafata, our technology trainer, helped the students make it happen."
