Cherry Avenue Celebrates Valentine’s Day with Yogurt or Ice Pops
The Cherry Avenue PTA made sure that the school-wide Valentine’s Day activity was a real treat with the distribution of Annie’s Frozen Yogurt or ice pops!
Before the Friday event, families were informed about the cold treat to guide them in determining which they wanted to choose: the frozen yogurt was nut-free while the ice pop was both dairy and nut-free. Those who opted out of the PTA treat altogether, were encouraged to send their children into school with snacks of their own.
On Friday, February 12, Cherry Avenue students were on the alert. Once the student rosters had been run by the school nurse, each student was given his or her special Valentine’s Day Treat during lunch.
