Class of 2021 Takes Inspirational Walk Down Memory Lane

The Class of 2021, dressed in their caps and gowns, took a nostalgic trip to their elementary schools for the annual Senior Inspirational Walk. From the High School, the Sayville Seniors either boarded the buses to Sunrise Drive and Lincoln Avenue elementary schools or actually walked down memory lane to Cherry Avenue.

It was an enjoyable reunion for many that included musical fanfare and reception lines of elementary students and faculty applauding and cheering as the Seniors processed through the buildings and outside on the schools’ grounds. This tradition at Sayville High School—to thank, reflect, reminisce, and inspire—began with the Class of 2018 and continues to be a great success. Mr. Hoffer takes special pride in this event that gives inspiration to the younger students with a glimpse into their own futures.
