Lincoln's Poetic Leaf Lesson
On one of those warm November days, Lincoln Avenue second graders in Kristin Gennari‘s class enjoyed a fall project. “After learning about why leaves change color in the fall," Ms. Gennari explained, "the children collected leaves, did leaf rubbings and then created fall poems that coincided with our writer’s workshop poetry unit. What a fun day!”
